Did you try other colors besides the black and white? Or just decided on the black and white. Think for a summer ID you should try more summery colors. Nice picture, self portraits are so hard. I've tried some new ones with my digital and have not be satisfied at all with my results. Yours came out very nicely.

Well, I really like black & white photography, and equally like the efects of the contrast between very intense blacks to grays to white. I also like solarizing images. The fact of putting summer colors into a Summer ID never occured to me. I chose this simply because I like the effect.

I've done a series of 6, all self portraits taken at the same time, so they are of the same theme. I like the effect, and am going to try a Warhol-ish type montage.
